: (1) For the purpose of Section 29 of the Act, the department shall have at least a gazetted third-class employee with the required number of experts related to goods or services to be monitored, inspection officers, officials of security agencies and representatives of other agencies or organizations. A market monitoring team may be formed. (2) When forming a monitoring team in accordance with sub-rule (1) based on the nature, form and technical aspects of the goods or services to be monitored, subject or joint monitoring including representatives of the relevant regulatory bodies that regulate the goods or services, and authorized representatives of the relevant agencies of the Government of Nepal and the Provincial Government. A team can be formed.
(3) The market monitoring team shall use the market monitoring and inspection form as per Schedule-1 while monitoring and inspecting the market in accordance with the Act and these regulations.
(4) In accordance with sub-rule (1), the department shall inform the ministry and the relevant regulatory body about the formation of a monitoring team.
(5) The Ministry may make necessary arrangements to monitor and supervise matters related to supply arrangements, prices, and quality of goods or services.
